Center Director Andrew M. and Owner Kim Mullins Help Two St. Johns Locations Earn 2025 National Franchise

St Johns, United States - September 4, 2026 / Tutoring Club /

ST. JOHNS, Fla. - Two locally owned Tutoring Club centers serving K-12 students in St. Johns County have each received national franchise recognition for 2025.

Tutoring Club of St. Johns (Julington Creek) has been named a 2025 Top 20 Franchise, while Tutoring Club of Johns Creek (CR 210) has earned the distinction of 2025 Top 5 Franchise.

The honors recognize the combined contributions of both St. Johns County locations, along with the leadership, administrative teams, tutors, students, and families whose efforts have shaped the centers' outcomes.

Both centers are locally owned and operated by Kim Mullins, with Andrew M. serving as Center Director and playing an important role in the growth and day-to-day leadership of the centers. Together with their administrative and tutoring teams, they have developed an environment centered on individualized academic support, consistent family communication, and building student confidence and independence.

A Personal Mission Behind the Centers

Kim Mullins' path to Tutoring Club began as a parent searching for answers when her own daughter struggled academically. After her daughter was diagnosed with learning differences, including dyslexia and processing challenges, Kim encountered firsthand the obstacles families face when a child requires more individualized academic support than a traditional classroom setting provides.

That experience ultimately shaped a broader purpose: to create an environment where students are understood, supported, and given the opportunity to build the skills and confidence they need to succeed.

Kim's daughter's academic journey became a documented example of what targeted support can produce. Her story - from early reading difficulties to significant academic progress - is detailed in How One Student Went From Reading Struggles to the 99th Percentile.

What began as one parent's search for answers developed into a commitment to helping other families work through their own academic challenges. That mission continues to guide both Tutoring Club locations in St. Johns County.

Individualized Academic Support for K-12 Students

Tutoring Club of St. Johns and Tutoring Club of Johns Creek offer individualized academic support for students in kindergarten through 12th grade.

Programs include reading support, writing help, math tutoring, homework support, study skills, academic coaching, FAST preparation, and SAT/ACT test preparation.

Because each student presents a different combination of strengths, challenges, and academic goals, instruction begins with identifying individual needs. Academic assessments and personalized learning plans are used to pinpoint skill gaps and establish areas of focus.

Reading support can address phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension, while math instruction spans foundational concepts through advanced high school mathematics.

The objective extends beyond assignment completion. Tutoring Club works to strengthen underlying academic skills while helping students develop the confidence and independence they need for long-term success.

The Teams Behind the Recognition

The 2025 honors also reflect the work of the people engaging with students and families on a daily basis.

At both centers, tutors and administrative staff play an essential role in the student experience.

Tutors provide individualized, one-on-one attention, ask questions that encourage independent thinking, explain concepts through multiple approaches, and adjust their methods when a student needs additional support. Their work focuses on building skills, independence, and confidence rather than simply moving through assignments.

The dedication and character of the team is visible in this behind-the-scenes look at the tutors who help make Tutoring Club special.

Administrative team members provide the organizational structure behind instruction by coordinating individualized learning plans, monitoring student progress, communicating with families, supporting tutors, preparing for sessions, and keeping students focused on appropriate academic goals.

Corporate leadership also highlighted the contributions of academic directors and tutors during its 2025 recognition program, identifying them as a central factor in the organization's results. The Johns Creek recognition specifically acknowledged the broader team supporting that center's accomplishments.

For the local centers, these awards represent a shared accomplishment - made possible by the commitment of the staff, students, and families who make up the Tutoring Club community.

Proudly Serving St. Johns County Families

With one center in Julington Creek and a second location on CR 210, Tutoring Club provides K-12 academic support to families throughout St. Johns County.

While the two locations serve different parts of the community, they operate with a shared purpose: to meet students where they are academically and give them the individualized support they need to move forward.

That progress takes a different form for each student. It might mean becoming a stronger reader, mastering a difficult math concept, developing more effective study habits, closing an academic gap, or approaching the FAST, SAT, or ACT with greater preparation.

For the teams at both locations, those individual student breakthroughs - not the awards themselves - remain the accomplishments that matter most.

Celebrating the Students, Families and Community

Being named a 2025 Top 20 Franchise and a 2025 Top 5 Franchise marks a significant milestone for the two St. Johns County centers, but the recognition reflects the efforts of an entire community.

It belongs to the students who put in the work, the families who have entrusted Tutoring Club with their children's education, and the tutors and administrative staff who support them throughout the process.

The entire Tutoring Club team extends its appreciation to the St. Johns County families who have supported the centers, shared their experiences, referred others, and allowed the team to be part of their children's academic journeys.

The awards offer an opportunity to acknowledge how far the centers have come while maintaining focus on what drives the work: helping more local students strengthen their skills, build confidence, overcome academic challenges, and discover what they are capable of achieving.
