Your Farmer, a food subscription based near Bowral in the NSW Southern Highlands, has set out how its farmer to fridge delivery works, from the family farms that grow the food to the customer's door.
How the Farmer to Fridge Model Works
Your Farmer supplies grass-fed beef and lamb, pastured eggs, and eco-grown vegetables and produce from Southern Highlands family farms that customers can know by name.
There are two ways to order. Customers can reserve a share of the harvest, or buy a one-off pack. Either way, they choose what goes in the box and set their own delivery rhythm. There is no lock-in, and customers can skip a delivery or cancel at any time.
Own Vans and a Reusable Esky
The farmer to fridge delivery is carried out by Your Farmer's own team in its own refrigerated vans, not by couriers. Each order arrives in a reusable insulated esky, which the team collects at the next delivery.
Customers who order farm to fridge beef can add lamb, eggs and produce to the same order.
Delivery Within 150 km of the Farms
Your Farmer only delivers within 150 km of its farms. The delivery area covers Greater Sydney, the Southern Highlands, Wollongong and Nowra, the Blue Mountains, the Central Coast, Canberra and the ACT, and Goulburn.
